Government to remove manual management of economy as soon as possible: PM
ASTANA. July 2. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "The Kazakh Government will remove the manual management of economy as soon as circumstances allow", Kazakh Prime minister Karim Massimov has said today at the III Astana Economic Forum.

The Head of the Government reminded that during the world economic crisis the Kazakh Government took measures supporting such spheres as stimulation of the banking sector, improvement of the social protection system, rendering assistance to small and medium businesses and investing in agriculture, infrastructure and construction.

"The measures allowed to invest USD 19 bln in the economy", K.Massimov noted.

But the fiscal stimulation is a temporary solution. "The Kazakh Government hopes to remove the manual management of the economy as soon as the circumstances allow", the Premier said.
