Economy of Kazakhstan is recovering - head of HSBC in Kazakhstan
ALMATY. June 18. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ - British bank HSBC sees positive dynamic growth in economy of Kazakhstan. Chairman of a subsidiary bank of JSC HSBC Bank Kazakhstan Simon Munter said it in Almaty today.

"Kazakhstan is rich in raw materials, human recourses and has great prospects in the future", Simon Munter noted.

"It has been a hard period for the banks of Kazakhstan but the situation in this sector is getting better as we see. The economy is recovering. We believe that the conditions the banks have to work in are economically favorable", the head of HSBC in Kazakhstan said. Besides, he emphasized that HSBC had been in Kazakhstan for 12 years already and mainly the bank focused on corporate and international markets. However there are good opportunities here for providing high quality services for individuals, Simon Munter added.
