Kazakh Prime Minister visited shopping malls in W Kazakhstan
UST-KAMENOGORSK. June 8. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has visited supermarket 'Dastarhan' in Semey, supermarket 'Arzan' and shopping mall 'Daneil' in Ust-Kanenogorsk within his two-day working visit to the region.

The issue of pricing in the food market is constantly monitored by the Government. The issue regarding the necessary measures to be taken to stabilize food prices was discussed at the sitting of the government on May 11. The Prime Minister expressed his view on the issue and gave some instructions on the topic.

At the forum 'The role of strategic enterprises in support of small and medium businesses' Karim Massimov noted that the volume of sales increased in the region. 'It shows that people now feel the situation is improving after the economy crisis. The President has made some vitally important decisions during the last three years to achieve this improvement. Salaries and pensions were raised in this span of time", the Prime Minister emphasized.

Besides, K. Massimov urged Akim of the region Berdybek Saparbayev to monitor the prices on the essential commodities for socially vulnerable layers of population.
