Competition for coverage of Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship announced
 ASTANA. April 24. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ "Media Life" public organization and "Tanat" journalists club of Astana with the support of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, the OSCE Center in Astana and the Representation of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Kazakhstan announced a competition for journalists titled "Kazakhstan - OSCE chairman in 2010".

The main purpose of the competition is motivation of the Kazakh mass media to cover the processes on the national and international levels.

The organizers named several categories of the competition such as "Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship - beginning and results", "Democratization of the way to development and prosperity", "Strengthening of cooperation of states - pledge of stability and security in the world".

Training for journalists on the issues of international and national experience in covering of democratic processes with participation of experts and foreign mass media is planned to be held within the competition.
