The Kazakh delegation was led by Deputy Head of the Security Council Kozy-Korpesh Dzhanburchin.

At the meeting the parties had deep and constructive exchange of views on ensuring security on the SCO space, the prospects of further development of cooperation and improvement of the mechanisms of interaction of the Organization member states in the sphere of countering terrorism, separatism and extremism as well as fight with illegal trafficking in arms and drugs.

The participants of the meeting spoke on tense in Afghanistan which creates favorable conditions for terrorism and drug business. Ensuring stability and security in the Central Asian region is impossible without solution of the Afghan problem, the participants stated.
