ASTANA. March 19. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ A concert devoted to the celebration of Nauryz is underway in central concert hall "Kazakhstan" today. Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev has visited the concert.

Opening the event N.Nazarbayev congratulated the citizens of the country on the coming holiday.

"Nauryz is a symbol of rebirth. The day of vernal equinox has been a symbol of nature's renewal for ages, it embodies continuous link of times and generations, shedding the energy of creation, beauty and love. Nauryz reflects the greatness of our culture and traditions of our people", N.Nazarbayev said.

The Head of the State noted that today Nauryz became a nation-wide holiday that is celebrated by all Kazakhstanis.
