KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Despite the crisis, German companies are keen on development of cooperation with Kazakhstan, Delegate of German Economy for Central Asia Hetsch Jorg said delivering a speech at the III Forum of German Investors in Astana Friday. "The growth in number of German enterprises working in our country proves it", H. Jorg added. According to him, both countries' businessmen consider primary sector as well as chemical and pharmaceutical industry, energy supply, metallurgy, construction and agriculture as promising sectors for cooperation. As earlier reported, 542 joint ventures were registered in Kazakhstan last year which include such large concerns as Siemens, Volkswagen, Knauf etc. Foreign direct investments in Kazakhstan economy made around USD 600 mln.
