ASTANA. March 19. KAINFORM The US Library of Congress has held a diplomatic reception in honor of Nauryz celebration with participation of embassies of those states, which mark this vernal (spring) equinox and of the symbolic renewal of nature.

The US officials, Congressmen, representatives of diplomatic corps, business and academic circles who participated in the event highly appraised 'corner of the Kazakh culture', in which there were represented the national dress and household items, music and books, and educational stands with information about traditions of Nauryz celebration in Kazakhstan. The special feature of the reception for he American guests was opportunity to familiarize with the process of the Kazakh Nauryz kozhe cooking and to try it.

There was held performance of young talents Olzhas Bayalbayev (dombra) and Aizhan Toleubayeva (kobyz) who study in the USA.
