KOROLEV. March 18. KAZINFORM A descent capsule of the spaceship Soyuz with two ISS-21/22 crewmen Maxim Surayev and Jeffrey Williams has made a smooth landing at 14.25 Moscow time on Thursday in the Kazakh steppe, a source in the Mission Control Center reported, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.

The descent capsule landed in the designated landing area northeast of Arkalyk, the source said. A rescue airplane detected the signal coming from the VHF communications system of the descent capsule and was following it to the landing site.
