As reported earlier, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan discussed the issues of water-energy cooperation.

"Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are the very close neighbors. We should build trust neighborly relations. More than a hundred international agreements were concluded with Uzbekistan, we have many treaties on friendship and cooperation, the eternal friendship agreement. Together with our neighbor states Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan we have a single source of water. Thus we should negotiate, solve these issues and maintain stability. Due to our cooperation with the Uzbek side we manage to resolve these issues successfully", N. Nazarbayev said.
