ALMATY.  March 17. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Akim of Almaty city Akhmetzhan Yessimov has met today with President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mevlut Cavusoglu who is on an official visit in Kazakhstan.

At the meeting with A. Yessimov  Mevlut Cavusoglu said PACE highly appraised the relations with Kazakhstan. This is the third state he visits at his new position. The PACE President said he considered Kazakhstan as a European country and expressed confidence that our rapidly developing country had great future.

In turn, the Mayor of Almaty thanked the high guest for the visit and noted that Kazakhstan actively moved towards European standards. Due to prudent policy of the Head of the State our country performs responsible mission as the OSCE presiding state this year.
