Kazakh, Uzbek leaders hold restricted meeting
 TASHKENT. March 17. KAZINFORM. /Kurmat Samarkhan/ The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are holding talks in narrow format in Tashkent. The Kazakh leader is accompanied by Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev, First Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev and President's Aide Kairat Sarybai.

After the narrow meeting the heads of the two states are expected to hold extended negotiations.

The sides intend to sign five bilateral documents, including the Joint Statement of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov; agreements between the two governments on protection and reproduction of saiga stock, on mutual allotment of land plots for the construction of diplomatic missions; Cooperation Program between the ministries of foreign affairs of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for 2010-2011; Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan and Ministry for Cultural and Sports Affairs of Uzbekistan for 2010-2012.
