PM charged akims of regions to allocate KZT 50 mln for flood-hit Almaty oblast
 ASTANA.  March 16. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Today at the Government's session Prime Minister Karim Massimov has charged the akims of the oblasts to grant KZT 50 mln for Almaty region. National companies were charged to allocate KZT 500 mln each for this aim.

"I think KZT 50 mln is enough for a start, then we will calculate additional sum", K. Massimov said.

According to him, the region has already received KZT 474 mln out of KZT 600 mln provided by the Government. "The rest of the sum will be sent today", Massimov said.

"All funds must be gathered and sent today. The akims and companies must take control over this", the PM stressed.

As is known, on March 12 at 00:03 Kyzylagash village of Aksu municipality in Almaty oblast was trapped in flood caused by dam failure. The rescuers have found bodies of 37 people, including 9 men, 17 women and 11 children.
