ASTANA.  March 15. KAZINFORM  /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Ministry of Oil and Gas calls on European companies to consult Kazakhstan on development of documentation on energy saving. Vice Minister Asset Magauov has said it at a scientific conference on trade-economic cooperation of Kazakhstan with the EU which took place in the Senate today.

"On June 9 the Government of Kazakhstan submitted the draft law On energy saving to the Parliament's consideration. As soon as the bill is adopted we must focus on development of regulatory-legal acts for implementation of the Law, namely, standards, rules, the programs on energy efficiency rising etc", A. Magauov clarified.

In this view, the Ministry of Oil and Gas invites the EU companies to consult the Kazakh side in this field taking into account their experience.

Deputies of the Parliament, heads central executive bodies, development institutes, public and international organizations as well as foreign diplomats participated in the conference.
