15 Martha 2010, 14:56 Senate to discuss bill on ratification of Kazakhstan-France Strategic Partnership Treaty ASTANA. March 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Senate Committee on International affairs, Defense and Security has discussed the Bill On ratification of the Strategic Partnership Treaty between the Republic of Kazakhstan and France. As the Upper House's press service informs, the Treaty aims at giving new impulse to bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and France in political, economic, scientific-technical, ecological, information, humanitarian, cultural and other spheres as well as strengthen its legal framework. In accordance with Article 1 of the Treaty, Kazakhstan and France build their relations on the basis of equality, mutual trust, strategic partnership and multilateral cooperation. The document was signed in Paris on July 11, 2008. After discussion the Committee took a decision to submit the document to the Senate's consideration with a recommendation to adopt it. Comments (0)
