KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan calls on Islamic banks to participate in implementation of the country's five-year industrialization program. Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev has announced it at the conference on Islamic financing in Astana today. "We would like to propose you to participate in Kazakhstan's forced industrial-innovative development program. In accordance with the estimations, the total demand in direct investments makes USD 50 bln", he said. A. Issekeshev familiarized the attendees with the priority directions of the industrialization program. "These are agro-industrial complex, food industry, construction, metallurgy, oil processing, chemistry, oil chemistry, infrastructure and engineering", the Minister clarified. "Today Islamic financing experiences rapid growth and our country is interested in cooperation with your countries", he stressed.
