ASTANA. March 13. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has charged to open a criminal case against the owner of the reservoir "Kyzyl-Agash" because of the flood deaths in Almaty region. He has made it public in Akorda today.

"The Prosecutor General or Internal Affairs Ministry should launch a criminal case against the owner of the reservoir. He must be prosecuted in connection with the deaths of so many people", N. Nazarbayev said.

The Head of the State stressed that no check of the safety of dams, not warning people about the dangers and no action to evacuate them must be regarded as a crime.
