ASTANA.  March 12. KAZINFORM  /Damir Baimanov/ President Nursultan Nazarbayev considers it necessary to conduct active explanatory work among the population on the role of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE. The Head of the State made it public at the meeting with the governors of the regions in Akorda Palace today March 12.

"Our chairmanship in the OSCE is honor for Kazakhstan. To date Kazakhstan is recognized and respected by the world community. 56 countries have elected us for this post. Nobody knows whether we have such chance in future. This must be clarified to our people in order to be worthy to the trust we are put in", N. Nazarbayev noted.
