ASTANA.  March 11. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The average monthly nominal wage in January 2010 in Kazakhstan made KZT 66, 674 that is 8.6% higher against the same period in 2009.

As the Statistics Agency informs, real wage grew by 101.2%.

"Consumer price index which characterizes the level of inflation in February 2010 made 102.3% against December 2009. Prices for food products rose by 2.4%, non-foods - by 0.7% and paid services - by 3.5%", Chairman of the Agency Alikhan Smailov said.
