ASTANA.  March 11. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ In January 2010 per capita nominal income in Kazakhstan made KZT 35, 251. Alikhan Smailov, Chairman of the Kazakh Statistics Agency, said it at a briefing today.

In comparison with the same period in 2009 growth in nominal incomes made 11% while in real incomes this figure comprised 3.5%.

The number of unemployed people in February 2010 made 552, 000. Unemployment level reached 6.5% against the number of economically active population, the Chairman of the Agency noted.
