ASTANA. March 11. KAZINFORM. Four trains have been suspended in Almaty region due to bad weather conditions today; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry.

They are the passenger trains running on the routes Kyzylorda-Semipalatinsk, Novosibirsk-Almaty, Semipalatinsk-Kyzylorda and Pavlodar-Almaty.  

The water level rose above the dam, causing flooding and erosion of foundation subgrade for 10-15 meters along the railway line. A brigade of 50 people is working at the site of erosion.
