ASTANA. March 5. KAZINFORM Head of the State N.Nazarbayev received Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev, the Presidential press service reports.

A.Kurishbayev informed the President of the results of the Ministry's activity for 2009 and tasks for the upcoming period within the President's Address to the Nation. The Ministry will modernize the mechanisms of subsiding and state support of agricultural sector that will be oriented at application of advanced technologies and intensification of production.   

The process of preparation for the spring sawing campaign, realization of investment projects including the projects financed through "KazAgro" Holding were discussed at the meeting as well.
