KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ "Due to great transit potential, favorable geographic location, stable political situation Kazakhstan can be a safe place of holding data for Caspian region and CIS member states", Deputy Chairman of "Zerde" National Information and Communication Holding" JSC Aziza Shuzheyeva said at the meeting of the meeting of the Head of the State with representatives of women community of Kazakhstan. According to her, there is a great need in data holding services in the world. Big servers and data-centers holding great volumes of information are mostly located in the USA today. The growth of demand of holding data in Russia increases by 30% annually. In this regard, A.Shuzheyeva suggested the President to build three powerful data-centers in Kazakhstan, where Caspian and CIS member states could store their information. "For Example, if we placed a data-center in Atyrau where we have three junctions of communication operators and energy, then oil companies working in the region and Caspian states could transfer their data to it", A.Shuzheyeva said. According to her, another data center could be build in Pavlodar as long as it is located near Novosibirsk having intellectual potential and Siberia with its big corporations. The third data-center could be placed in "Alatau IT-Park" Special Economic Zone. Besides, according to A.Shuzheyeva, it is necessary to adopt specialized Laws that guarantee confidentiality of information. Comments (0)
