MOSCOW. March 5. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ International Economic Forum of the CIS member states (Forum of CIS Business Leaders) will be opened in Moscow today.

The main purpose of the Forum is practical assistance in realization of the Economic Development Strategy of the CIS till 2020. Practical specialists of the CIS member states will discuss topical issues of application of advanced technologies, gained experience and organizational decisions in different sectors of the economy.

The Kazakhs side is represented by the Parliament Deputies, leadership of the Kazakh Agency on regulation of activities of the regional financial centre of Almaty, "Kazpochta" JSC, diplomatic mission of Kazakhstan in Russia and experts of the Kazak Institute of Strategic Research.

Perspective innovative projects promoting formation of single industrial, scientific, research and educational base of the Commonwealth member states will be discussed. Recommendations on long-term cooperation in the innovative filed will be developed as well.

Awarding of "CIS Business Leader" honorary badge will be held at the Forum for the first time.
