ASTANA. March 3. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ Kazakhstan's potential in ensuring security should be used not only in Europe, but in Transatlantic and Trans-Asian regions. Senate deputy Adil Akhmetov has announced to journalists on Wednesday, March 3.

According to him, from the next year Kazakhstan will chair in international organizations engaged in the security issues. They are the OIC, SCO, EurAsEC, CICA.

"Kazakhstan's potential is great. The President proposes to use this potential in ensuring security not only in Europe - the OSCE region, but in Transatlantic and Trans-Asian regions", the Senator said.

The Prans-Asian Parliamentary Forum will be held under the auspices of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Almaty in spring. In his opinion, this forum has great significance.

The Senate deputy said: "It is necessary to align these organizations, because they are involved in security issues".
