ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ A range of documents has been signed today in Akorda upon the results of the meeting of Romanian and Kazakh Presidents Traian Basescu and Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In particular these are the Agreement on economic cooperation between the Kazakh and Romanian Governments, Agreement on encouragement and mutual protection of investments between the Kazakh and Romanian Governments, Agreement on cooperation between the Kazakh Ministry of Justice and the Romanian Ministry of Justice and Civil Liberties of Romania, Agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Governments of two states, and Memo on mutual understanding and interaction in the field of statistics between the Kazakh Agency on Statistics and the Romanian National Institute of Statistics.
