Senate ratified Protocol on amendments to Treaty on Allied Relations between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan
ASTANA. February 25. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Senate of the Kazakh Parliament adopted the Law "On ratification of the Protocol on amendments to the Treaty on Allied Relations between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan as of December 25, 2003" at the plenary session.

"The Protocol was signed by the Heads of two states on April 17, 2008 in Astana. The necessity of adoption of the Protocol is conditioned by the fact that the text of the Treaty must be adjusted to the current state of the bilateral; relations between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan", Deputy Foreign Minister Nurlan Yermekbayev said representing the draft Law.
