KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ During the period 2007-2009 the network of vocational schools in Kazakhstan increased by 34 facilities and made 882 educational institutions. Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev has said at a visiting session of the Committee of Socio-Cultural Development of the Kazakh Parliament's Senate at the Astana Polytechnic College today. The Minister noted that 513 institutions are the state ones, 369 are private ones. Over the period of 2008-2009 vocational schools were opened in Karaganda, Atyrau regions, Astana city. Construction of two more schools for 800 places was started in Astana, and one more in South Kazakhstan region. Building of an interregional staff training center for energy sector was started in Ekibastuz town. Comments (0)
