Almaty oblast Governor congratulated biathlete E. Khrustaleva on silver medal at Vancouver Olympics
TALDYKORGAN.  February 22. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duisenova/ Akim of Almaty oblast Serik Umbetov sent a telegram of congratulation to biathlete Elena Khrustaleva, silver-winner of Vancouver Olympics.

"This is the first award of Kazakhstan at the XXI Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. This is your first personal contribution to strengthening of our country's weight on the international arena, one more  bright page in Kazakhstani sports chronicle. This is a wonderful present in the year of Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship", the telegram reads.
