ASTANA. February 20. KAZINFORM An international scientific conference "Human dimension of the OSCE: general and thematic priorities in 2010" is to be held in Astana on February 22; the press service of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party informs.

Organizer is the Institute of Parliamentarism of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party. The conference will be held under participation of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the OSCE Center in Astana.

According to the organizers, the event is directed to discussion of main provisions and prospective directions of development of the OSCE heritage in the field of human dimension.

Representatives of the Kazakh President's Administration, deputies of the Majilis and Senate, heads of the state bodies, representatives of foreign diplomatic corps, international organizations, political parties, NGOs, mass media, domestic and foreign experts will take part in it.

"This conference reflects the Party's striving for support of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE by creation of dialog platforms on discussion of topical issues in the field of human dimension", the statement reads.
