IBRAGIM ATA MAUSOLEUM
Ibragim Ata Mausoleum is an architectural monument in South-Kazakhstan Oblast. It is located on the outskirts of the north-west part of Sairam village near the road to Aksu village. It was constructed in XVI-XVII centuries above the grave of Ibrahim Sheikh - religious advisor, father of Khodja Akhmed Yassavi.

The mausoleum can be related to cupola monuments typical for medieval architecture. Its previous construction was destroyed by the time in XII-XIV centuries. The new mausoleum constructed in the middle of XIX century suffered from the earthquake in 1950. The monument was reconstructed in XX century. The square of the mausoleum is 7,2х 7,2 m, the height is 8.25 m.

There lived a lot of religious teachers and advisors in ancient Sairam city which was one of the centers for propaganda of Islam religion. Father of Khodja Akhmed Yassavi - Ibrahim-Ata was one of them. He was a husbandman. There are several manuscripts in Sairam Museum proving his noble origin.
