ASTANA. February 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Heroism of soldiers internationalists will always be an example for younger generation. First Deputy Chairman of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party Nurlan Nigmatullin has said during handing over of military decoration of the USSR to Kazakhstanis.

"President of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Party Nursultan Nazarbayev is always paying great attention to our youth upbringing in terms of veterans, including soldiers internationalists, those people who demonstrated courage and heroism fulfilling international duty", N.Nigmatullin said.

He thanked employees of the Russian Embassy for assistance in presentation of orders to war veterans in Afghanistan.

As N.Nigmatullin noted, over 22,000 Kazakhstanis hold military service in Afghanistan in the period of 1979-1989, 924 of them - died, 21 - are missing. Over 150 Kazakhstanis got military decorations. There were identified 360 facts when the Kazakh soldiers internationalists did not receive their orders.
