ALMATY. February 12. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ Over two last months there were opened 17,000 seats in preschool establishments in the country. Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev has announced it at the meeting with NGOs leaders working in the education sphere.

According to him, the Ministry pays great attention to this problem solution. Today 1,766 state and 237 nongovernmental establishments are functioning in the country, 38 percent of children are attending them. By the Kazakh President's instruction the Department took a number of measures on expansion of preschool organizations network.

A schedule of launching facilities of preschool education by state funds and private investments in 2009-2015 was made up, a list of kindergartens, which will be repaired within the Road Map, was formed, and etc.

The education budget in 2009 increased by 9.5 percent against 2008.
