ASTANA. February 5. KAZINFORM Head of the State N.Nazarbayev received Chairman of Kazakh Ecological Union of Associations and Enterprises "Tabigat" Mels Yeleusizov, the presidential press service reports.

M.Yeleusizov informed the President of participation in the 15th Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change that was held in Copenhagen in December 2009 and became the biggest international climate forum in the history.

A wide range of issues connected with ecological situation in Kazakhstan and work on environmental protection was discussed as well.
