KZT 12 bln to be allocated for healthcare system in Astana this year – Astana Mayor
ASTANA. February 4. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Over KZT 12 bln from Astana budget is expected to be spent for healthcare service; Mayor of Astana city has informed of it today at the meeting with population.

Along with this the Mayor informed of the problems existing in healthcare system and their solution. In particular, the total rated capacity of dispensary health units made 6,155 visits per shift and rated at 370,000 people. The deficit made 4,855 visits per shift.

"Therefore we lay great expectations on those medical institutions to be built within the "Construction of 100 Hospitals" Program". Their total number is nine, from which two were launched in 2009", the Mayor informed.

According to him, construction of other six healthcare facilities will be continued this year.
