ASTANA-AKORDA.  January 25. KAZINFORM Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Board of KazMunayGas NC JSC Kairgeldy Kabyldin today.

As the Presidential press service reports, K. Kabyldin informed N. Nazarbayev of the Company's results in 2009 and the plans for 2010.

According to the Head of KazMunayGas, the Company has reached all targeted production indices. Compared to 2008 oil output rose by 104% last year. Due to realization of an investment strategy the Company acquired additional assets of Mangistaumunaygas JSC, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP, and The Rompetrol Group (Romania) to the sum of KZT 540 bln.

"In 2009 we implemented a number of infrastructure project. These are the second stage of Kazakhstan-China oil pipeline and the first stage of Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline. Thus amid the crisis we could preserve our production potential and increase the assets for future accelerated development", Kabyldin said at a briefing.
