ASTANA. January 22. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ All extracting companies must pay taxes according to the new legislation; President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it today at the session in Akorda.

The President noted that all foreign investors dealing with oil and gas extraction work according to contracts providing tax liability under the applicable law.

"When our tax officers come they have to bring huge bags with legislation documents to find information how impose taxes on our investors working at oil and gas deposits of our country", the President stated.

The Head of the State urged the Government to develop the issue so that all extracting companies were imposed with taxes according to the current law.
