Kazakh PM urges Environmental Protection Ministry to make proposals on garbage processing issues
ASTANA. January 20. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has urged the Ministry of Environmental Protection to make proposals on the garbage processing issues.

He gave such instruction at the enlarged session of the Ministry's Board.

"The inevitable process of the whole world, including Kazakhstan, is that maximum development is being held in those countries, in which big cities appear, because there are a big concentration of intellectual, financial, economic and other resources", K.Massimov said.

"Such economic centers are forming in Kazakhstan. It is clear, that drinking water and garbage are the biggest problems, which should be solved", K.Massimov said.

According to him, it is necessary to use the best world experience in the issue of garbage processing.

"I think that you jointly with akims (governors) should take it under control", K.Massimov said addressing Minister of Environmental Protection Nurgali Ashimov.

The Premier considers that a part of the funds of the Road map should be invested in garbage processing in the regions and especially in big cities.
