KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The National Center for Waste Production and Consumption Management is planned to be created within "Zhassyl Damu" state program. Minister of Environmental Protection Nurgali Ashimov has announced it at the enlarged session of the Ministry's Board on Wednesday, January 20. "Its main task is the implementation of environmental measures, development of entrepreneurship niche in the sphere of environmental protection, environmental innovations introduction, creation of plants on production of technological complexes and ecological equipment", the Minister noted. According to him, using funds of the National Fund, the Center will participate in co-financing of different projects, and it will increase their attractiveness for international donors. The funds from the environmental payments and fines are suggested to be directed to the National Fund of Kazakhstan, then in the form of target transfers they will be directed to "Zhassyl Damu" center, which will invest in projects implementation. The Minister noted that draft state program "Zhassyl Damu" is submitted to the Government and is included in a preliminary draft of the list of planned state programs within the framework of implementation of 2020 Strategic Plan.
