KOKSHETAU. January 19. KAZINFORM /Zhanmurat Zhanaidarov/ In 2009 agricultural manufacturers of Akmola region supplied food products to Astana residents amounted KZT 90 mln.

55.7 thousand tons of milk and dairy foods, 15.5 thousand tons of meat and meat products, 86.7 million of eggs were sold last year. The growth made 6.5-38.5% for different types of products.

19 projects amounted to KZT 10.2 bln have been implemented in Astana aimed at creation of the food belt of the city. Several feed yards in Arshaly, Yenbekshilder, Tselinograd municipalities have been put into operation; in Burabaisk and Tselinograd municipalities - commercial dairy farms, in Bulandynsk, Yenbekshilder and Tselinograd municipalities - poultry farms, in Arshaly and Burabaisk municipalities - vegetable stores and other agricultural enterprises have been launched at present.

Besides, 8 plants on production of meat and dairy products were refitted in Bulandynsk, Yessilsk, Zerendynsk, Sandyktausk, Tselinograd and Shortandy municipalities.
