ASTANA.  December 20. KAZINFORM The United Nations Organization is inspired by Kazakhstan's contribution, adherence and support. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon writes in his congratulation letter sent to the Head of the State on the occasion of the 18^th anniversary of the country's independence.

"The UN has a unique opportunity to mobilize common efforts which are necessary to reach success", the letter reads.

"All challenges we are facing today - from climate change to doubling efforts on achievement of the Millennium goals - relate more to interaction than confrontation. Fulfilling this mission the UN is inspired by adherence and support from Kazakhstan side", the letter says.
