Draft Doctrine of National Unity discussed in Shymkent
SHYMKENT. November 25. KAZINFORM. /Tatyana Pylayeva/ A draft National Unity Doctrine of Kazakhstan was considered during Wednesday visiting session of the Public Chamber of the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakhstan Parliament) in Shymkent.

Making a speech Deputy Chairman of the Kazakhstan People's Assembly Yeraly Tugzhanov noted that it was important to involve more Kazakhstanis in discussion of the draft Doctrine. For this purpose the state bodies and People's Assembly hold activities on raising public awareness about the document. "We received more than 160 proposals from our citizens. All of them will be considered", Mr. Tugzhanov said. He emphasized that the debate and updates would help elaborate more accurate document that will become a basis of the state national policy for a medium-term perspective.   

Chairman of Uzbek National Cultural Center of South Kazakhstan region Ikram Khashimzhanov noted that the Kazakhstan Doctrine of National Unity should become a handbook for every Kazakhstani, particularly for representatives of national cultural centers and civil servants.
