National Unity Doctrine aims at activation and mobilization of human, intellectual potential
ALMATY.  November 17. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ The Doctrine of National Unity of Kazakhstan aims at activation and mobilization of human and intellectual potential. This opinion was voiced by renowned political scientists and sociologists of the country at a roundtable held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty today

This document represents interest for sociologists in the context of development of the issues of social engineering, on the threshold of an international scientific conference "Phenomenon of social engineering and First President of Kazakhstan", Professor Zauresh Shaukenova says.

According to the conference participants, on the President's instruction the document must define clearly three important aspects: What is national unity? What is the basis of the national unity? How will we strengthen it in future? The sociologists of the country have to reconsider key moments of the problems of social and public structure, to discuss and clarify the main provisions of the Doctrine to the students and develop a common action program.

Political scientist Yury Buluktayev says the Doctrine can underlie the whole system of legal, socio-economic, political, state-administration measures directed on strengthening the nation's unity. "Its realization aims at activation and mobilization of human, intellectual potential in order to ensure accelerated development of the country, achievement of well-being of every Kazakhstani citizen and observance and protection of the people's rights and freedoms", he highlighted.

"Economic growth, social progress and democratic development of the country can be possible only through consolidation and preservation of the unity of the Kazakh society", Gulmira Abdiraimova, Doctor of Sociology noted.
