Crucial to form a commission for updating National Unity Doctrine - Nazarbayev
ASTANA. October 26. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has commissioned to create a special working commission for completion of the National Unity Doctrine at the 15th session of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan in Astana today.

"During the previous session I urged to develop a draft Doctrine of Kazakhstan National Unity. Specialists, experts and scientists worked over this project. Today we have to consider it and hold a public expertise with participation of political parties and nongovernmental organizations. We should create a special working commission for completion of the Doctrine", the Kazakh leader said.

N. Nazarbayev emphasized that the Doctrine should become on the one hand a document generalizing our considerable experience and on the other hand a solid basis for moving ahead, long-term and medium-term strategy of holding national policy, further strengthening of political stability, unity and consent in the country.
