Teachers, engineers and medical professionals to be sent for overseas training

ASTANA. April 11. KAZINFORM A sitting of the Republican Commission on personnel training abroad chaired by Kazakh Secretary of State Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed has been held in Akorda.

"8 thousand Kazakh students got scholarships within the "Bolashak" Program initiated by Kazakh President N. Nazarbayev. 64% graduated from leading universities of the U.S. and Britain. This indicates the Kazakh President's care for the talented younger generation. The aim of the Republican Commission is to select the most worthy representatives of our youth in correspondence with the President's instruction on the training of top managers of the international level," Kazakh Secretary of State said.

Taking into account the scale and characteristics of social, economic, cultural and humanitarian development of the country a program target method of training is introduced.

It was emphasized  that teachers, engineers and medical professionals will be sent for overseas training this year along with the staff of research centers within the presidential scholarship.

This innovation will successfully meet the challenges of the state program "Salamatty Kazakhstan" and other important national projects. This year it is planned to award 1186 presidential scholarships.
