Report of East Kazakhstan region's governor submitted to the President

ASTANA. November 21. KAZINFORM - To the name of the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has been submitted the report of Akim of East Kazakhstan region Berdibek Saparbaev, the press service of the President says.

In his report Mr.Saparbayev informs about the progress of the region's "Business Road Map-2020" and "Employment Road Map-2020".

Akim of East Kazakhstan region notes that within the framework of "Business Road Map-2020" have been created 3,000 new jobs, and saved more than 10,000 positions.

60 applications have been approved in 2013 to subsidize interest rates on loans totaling KZT 4.1 billion.

In general, this year in the area KZT2.8 billion have been allocated by the Programme, out of which KZT1.1 billion tenge are aimed at creating industrial infrastructure.

Considerable attention is paid to work in the region to inform entrepreneurs about the directions of the state support of business. So, this year the Centers of support and service of entrepreneurs provided 3463 information and advisory services to 2256 to small and medium-sized businesses.

According to the report by "Employment Road Map -2020" from 2011 to the present, more than 4 million people have received micro loans worth more than KZT9.7 billion.

Akim of East Kazakhstan region states that for moving people out of unpromising villages there are construction works related to housing in the points of economic growth. Thus, they are, for example, construction of the 60-apartment building in the town of Zyryanovsk, 10 semi-detached houses in the village of Kokzhayyk and 114 single-family homes in the district of Shygys in Ust -Kamenogorsk.

Also, due to the allocated budget 68 social facilities have undergone repairing, 37 housing and communal services, and 66 km of local roads.

Since 2011 the employment program covered more than 31 thousand people, out of which 60 % is the youth. The unemployment rate fell from 5.7 % in 2010 to 5 % in the 3rd quarter of 2013.

At the end Mr.Saparbayev reports that the government programs have received broad support of a diverse population of the region. Akim of East Kazakhstan notes that the continued implementation of these programs will serve to strengthen social stability and well-being of citizens.
