N. Nazarbayev prioritizes interests of Kazakhstan's people and allegiance to Constitution

ASTANA. February 4. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Decision of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev not to hold a national referendum and have early Presidential elections is bold, right and democratic. Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan Abelgazy Kusainov said it at the session of the board of the Ministry on realization of the main provisions of the President's Address to the Nation.

As the Minister emphasized most of the people of Kazakhstan supported the idea of holding the national referendum on extending powers of 1st President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. Though, in spite of the fact that the term of his presidency will be reduced for two years Nursultan Nazarbayev made a decision on holding early Presidential elections. Never had there been such a case in the world history. It is a bold, right and democratic decision. By means of this decision the Head of State outlined his priorities such as interests of the people of Kazakhstan and allegiance to the Constitution', the Minister said.
