Kyrgyz police arrest Islamist recruiter

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Kyrgyz law enforcers have tracked down and arrested an internationally wanted Islamist recruiter, Kabar.kg reports.

According to Kyrgyz intelligence, the arrestee is one of the leaders of an Islamic extremist cell. He had confessed to being involved in extremist activities and was placed in a temporary detention center.
