Kazakh Leader met with heads of Baku Nobel Heritage Fund

ASTANA. May 23. KAZINFORM Within the VI Astana Economic Forum President of Kazakhstan held a meeting with chairmen of Baku Nobel Heritage Fund Gustav Nobel, Philippe Nobel and Togrul Bakirov, the press service of Akorda reports.

Perspectives of mutually fruitful cooperation development with Baku Nobel Heritage Fund were considered at the meeting.

The sides stressed the profitable opportunities for joint projects implementation and expressed hope for mutually beneficial in realization process.

The Nobel Family is the Swedish-Russian family of inventors and industrialists. In the early 19thcentury Nobel brothers' oil company worked in Atyrau (Guriev) area and was engaged in development of oil fields. The first oil in Kazakhstan has strong association with the Nobel family. "Nobel Brothers" partnership built an oil refinery in the town of Novobogatinsk where approximately 40-50% of the profits were used to build hospitals, schools, and training courses.
