Fervent heat set to grip S Kazakhstan on Friday

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Inclement weather with rains, thunderstorms, wind and hail is forecast for most regions of Kazakhstan. Fervent heat is expected to grip southern Kazakhstan, according to Kazhydromet.

Wind with gusts up to 15-20 mps will batter North Kazakhstan, Akmola, Pavlodar, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Mangistau, Kostanay, Zhambyl and West Kazakhstan regions. Gusts of wind may reach up to 25-28 mps in North Kazakhstan, Akmola, Pavlodar, Karaganda and East Kazakhstan regions.

Wind will bring dust storm to Kyzylorda region.

Hail may hit North Kazakhstan, Akmola, Pavlodar, Karaganda and East Kazakhstan regions.

Thunderstorm is expected in East Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions.

Excessive heat will torment residents of Kyzylorda, Almaty, Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Pavlodar and Karaganda regions.

High fire hazard will persist in Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan regions.
